Gauges in pocket above heater controls?

I would like to add 2 gauges to my fj60...an EGT gauge and water temp. Are there any gauges that will fit in the small space where the pocket is above the heater controls? I would rather not have an A pillar gauge pod. Thanks!

EJ,

The available space to fit a gauge mounting face will be about 1 1/2" tall. I think you will find some tiny gauges that will fit, but they will be too small, low and off to the side to be of use while driving, unless you have a co-pilot reading the engine operating status like the rally car teams.

I recommend you do a search on the 60 forum, as well as the diesel forum for "gauges" to see what others have come up with. Options I remember include the cubby, stereo head opening, A pillar, under dash and up on top of the dash pad.
