Recently purchased engine gasket kit 04112-66036 and although I can identify most of the gaskets I can't for sure identify them all. So I separated them and assigned a number in hopes that some of you on here could help me out. I've seen Toyota's picture for this kit and it helped but not in great detail. I hope my picture is good enough to see and make each of the gaskets or groups of gaskets identifiable. Thanks in advance

If you could tell us which one's you have questions about....maybe we can help. Doubt anyone is going to compile a complete list.

I can tell you that you likely won't be using #14.

Also, what exactly is the 'project' here (head gasket job, engine rebuild, other)?

Great idea labeling them.....I like that.

1. Manifold air injection gaskets (1993/1994 only)
2. Fuel line banjo fitting gaskets (fuel filter and fuel rail)
3. Exhaust downpipe gaskets
4. Thermostat oring
5. Oil cap oring
6. Distributor oring
7. Throttle body gasket
8. Water outlet gasket
9. Manifold air injection gasket (1993/1994 only)
10. EGR pipe gasket (back of head)
11. EGR gasket at intake manifold
12. Timing chain tensioner gasket
13. Water bypass tube gaskets (above thermostat going to side of head)
14. Head galley plug gaskets
15. Injector insulators
16. Injector orings
17. Injector orings
18. Spark plug tube seals
19. Intake manifold clamshell gaskets (upper to lower)
20. Intake manifold gasket
21. Valve cover gasket.
22. Head gasket.
23. Exhaust manifold gasket.

You are missing 15785-66010 x3 and 15725-66010 x1. Those would need to be sourced to really make this a top notch HG kit. You can get those from your Toyota dealer.

Excellent, this is 'sticky' material.

Who needs Google when you have @Onur?

This thread has been very helpful as I’m going through my first HG job on any vehicle. There’s one item that I’m not quite sure where it goes.
#14 - head galley plug gasket.
I don’t recall removing that when I took the head off yesterday. Head has since been sent off to the machine shop. Is it under those large Allen key bolts in between each set of valves??

Yes. If the Allen heads have not been off, no need to remove them especially after the machine work has been done.

Move on.
