I may be completely ignorant . . . so go easy if this is a scam that everyone knows about except me. http://globalenergydevices.com/index.php But, does anyone know about these hydrogen generators to improve mileage? I'm driving a 2000 LX470 I just bought for a daily driver / work vehicle. I haven't even had a chance to confirm my mileage yet, but it seems to me, I'm getting under 10 mpg and want to optimize. The theory behind the hydrogen generator sounds reasonable at first glance. What say you? Thanks for any input.

OK, Disclaimer, the tornado doesn't work. I have a feeling the Hydrogen, free energy machine thingy won't either.

72.78 MPG with power from this backfeeding (and spooling) my alternator. A bit of a PITA to gather twigs, but totally worth it.

I read somewhere that plastidip will solve any problem.

buy a prius. average your milage with the lc. BOOM! 100% increase in mpg.

Good point. I drive my motorcycle (50mpg) and LC (10mpg) about equally through the year. So I'm really getting ~30mpg. Not too shabby. Plastidip is in the works for large portions of the bike.

Not exactly. If you drive 500mi/week, half at 100mpg and half at 10mpg, you're still only averaging 18mpg. Ask me how I know.

Oh no. Is it one of those "what are your chances of winning if you change your guess to the second door" things?

You will never get good gas mileage from a 6000 LB vehicle with a thirsty V8 no matter what you do.

Yeah, but that's only if you're using the green biodegradable duct tape with it.

OK, I'll ask! I'd LOVE to know how you're averaging 18 in a 2000!

DIY hydrogen kits. Yeah, I see nothing wrong with that.

I do not presume to answer for Klaus, but here's the math:

250 miles @ 100 mpg = 2.5 gallons consumed

250 miles @ 10 mpg = 25 gallons consumed

The average for 500 miles for both is:

500 miles / (25 + 2.5) = 18.18 mpg

Consider using a P.P.D (plastidip propulsion device) to double your MPG's.

It wasn't really a math question.

Because I split my commute between a 100mpg vehicle and the 12mpg 100. But I'm not averaging 50-something mpg. Nothing that interesting. Just pointing out the math. Although I haven't tried this plasticdip mod yet.

Gotcha. Didn't think you were actually getting 18 out of a 2000.
