You guys need to put your egos away and just give good service to your rigs. I've got 260k on my factory installed birfs and still going strong. I've yet to replace a birf for anything other than spline wear on the early style birfs.

All egos aside...You going on the run Rick?

Are you guys planning on camping at my house?

Ego??? Didn't realize i came off that way.... Fact is, I'm running 37's and will only be running harder trails in the future. To say that birfield failure is unexpected in such conditions is a little rash. Hence my "birf freakout".... However: You were...... Right. Much ado about nothing (ego check?) My axles HAVE been serviced/maintained accordingly, and once i took it on a drive, identified the "clunking" as the rear radius arm bushings.... Which i have parts for, just gotta drop the arms and bring them to a shop with a press. Let's get this train back on da rails to Gary's Run!

pre ran the trails for Sunday. A good mix of intermediate, Newport and Unity, NH. Should be done by 3 at the latest.

Sweet! I'll be down early Saturday and possibly camp out in the truck Sat night, if there are plans for a Sunday AM run

I'll be camping in my rig where ever is available. I will be coming down Fri. evening.
Are you guys planning on camping at my house?

I'll be there Friday, 3:01, yup camping at your
your house.

Hope you get all your wrenching done Josh. Sounds like it outing will be a good time. The only downside to the longs I am aware of is they wear faster than oem and more $. I would try to source a used one at least for now. Then you just have to do one side.
Hate to derail this thread again but I must set the record straight. Longfields last about 80k miles the hardness was changed, They are warrantied for life, So when they wear out send them back and they will rebuild them for 50 bucks. So it's a no brainer. Longfields have been one of the best upgrades I made. It cured my BBS. I used to snap birfs every time out.

I hate to redirect this thread but I am excited to be making this trip again and will be up there Friday afternoon.

it depends on my work schedule but Barton might join me and we'll probably camping on the lawn or where ever.

I got a trail for Barton at the house

Looks like I'll be able to join you all Sunday, (if you have room), but in the UZJ100 not the RRC. Sorry you have to wait until the FG to heckle me for owning such an abomination...

Gary: looks like you guys are running east of the river Sunday, is there a place in NH I could meet you all? I'll probably stay at the inlaws in Fitchburg Sat night and come thru Keene.

weather is looking good for the weekend. I will be home after 2 o'clock on Friday. Pm me for directions and address

I will cook breakfast on Sunday. Seeing that we have a small group, do we want to cook supper together?
