May I ask why these are so highly valued/priced? I can go out and buy any new Garmin for $300 - $400, so what makes this one special? I'm not debating the price as I have seen similar units sell for the same or more, just curious as I'm debating a GPS unit myself. You can PM if easier, think it would help your sale too though.

this one it's a great tough unit .. kinda old school but still with great features like track log, voice commands turn by turn nice screen size, color screen etc .. back in the day was top notch and I still wish some of the new ones have all 276C features together plus te new ones ..

I have been overseas quite a few times and these things are used a lot by private pilots helo pilots, and see a lot in magazines for aviation as well. I have had one for some time and they hold their value if not increase. Great unit in which I need to learn how to use to its capacity

Hello

Like others have stated, it is awesome for offroad use where there are no roads. It can be used anywhere in the world and is used by pilots and on small boats. Also a lot of serious offroad guys use it for expeditions.
