I've heard lots of good things about the smittybuilt winches
At 6500#'s loaded a 10K winch should be enough for your needs. I'am a Superwinch fan myself.

A pair of Optimas are enroute. Isolator on order, still working on picking out the winch.

LED interior and back-up lights installed. new plugs, plug wires, dizzy, rotor, installed. Dual optimas showed up at my office today. Next week should start to get really exciting.

answer - spark plug wire boot. It came off on plugs #4 & 6. I could get over #4 w/ a light and carefully extract it with a bent coat hanger out of the plug well. Not enough room at the #6 plug so I had to take the dang hood off to see it and extract it. turned my record setting plug swap into a multi-hour process.
winch - going with a Warn VR10000.
Big Horn has us slated for a couple days next week. I will be sure to get lots of photos posted up.

All of the engine maint. handled (timing cover seal, trans. kickdown cable, oil pump o-ring, etc...) Dual battery system in. 4" suspension installed. They have some fine tuning to do on the suspension today and then will be starting with armor installation.
Time to get some big boy tires on that machine!!!

She's sitting outside for a couple days taking a breather....and waiting until the rear bumper and winch show up. They should be here Wednesday and ideally she'll get her front, rear, side, and belly armor by the end of the week!!!
NOTE - we will be selling the 265/75-16 Yokohama Geolander AT-S tires (and wheels) that are on there right now. The tires are dang near brand new. I posted an ad in mud classifieds.

With all of the crazy weather that we've had lately its taken a little longer than expected to get over to Golden, Colorado. However, as of this morning the rear bumper and winch have picked up from Slee Off Road and are now at Big Horn Toyota ready for installation.

sitting outside of Big Horn Toyota in Glenwood for the world to see. If you're passing through on your way to/from Cruise Moab stop by and check it out. We still have to deal with; receiver installation, tires/wheels, internal electronics, roof cage, aux. lights, etc... but its drivable.
Great job, looks very nice and capable.
