:) Hello! Decided to join after lurking around for a few weeks. Thought I share my current project a 2013 GX460 I picked up in April with 24,000 miles. My goal for the truck is to keep it a daily driver with some mild mods to take on long hunting trips.

Current mods:
Ironman FCP Stage 2 suspension, Stealth Custom Wheels 17x8.5 -12 offset, Falkin Wildpeaks 285 70 17 C, Pinch welds cut and folded over, BMC, Trimmed bumpers, RSG Rock Sliders, 4.88 Nitro Gears, ARB Lockers, ARB single high output air compressor, Switch Pro control,

Put some Black Rino wheels on but wasn't feeling the look.

So I swapped them out for the Stealth Customs

With the larger wheels it felt to sluggish for me so I called the people at Nitro and they hooked me up with some 4.88 gears and ARB air lockers.

Quarantine boredom got me trimming the bumpers. Not sure what I'm gonna do about the Wiper fluid bottle.

Nice start to your build! I think we have a lot of the same mods and from the same manufacturers. I feel like the power is adequate with 285/70's but any larger and I'd agree that I would want to regear to gain some of that bottom end back. Did you you do front and rear ARB Air Lockers or just the rear?

Looks good. How do you like the suspension set up.
On the road it's stiffer on the front end and softer on the rear end compared to stock. Feels great on the highway. I haven't had the chance to drive it off road yet. Crossing my fingers I'll get the chance next weekend.

Thanks Tex! My past vehicles were turbocharged which made the GX feel pretty sluggish from the beginning. When I added the larger tires I was disappointed. But I agree with you its doable. I just wanted a little more out of it and I may try some 35's in the future. Yes, I did both front and rear lockers. I'm really hoping to get some free time next weekend to try out.

Depending on how much preload you have in the coilovers it can certainly feel stiffer up front. Off-road it's similar to how it drives on road but I think I prefer how it rides off-road more than the on-road characteristics. The FCP's are extremely good for the money.

Haha, you don't get to take that one back man, too funny!!

Just wanted to share some pics of some of the things I have been working on the past few months. I'm sure most of y'all have seen this thing on GXOR Facebook group or possibly my Instagram account.

Had some bumper and swing out work done by the fine gentleman at Mayhem Metal Works in Simi Valley, CA. Paint and body work was completed by SS Motor Sports in Simi Valley.
