Received a notification today that my GAIA subscription is increasing from $39.95 to $59.90, that's a 67% jump. I'll definitely be researching alternatives. OnX and US topo maps are interesting and are lower priced alternatives.

its really frustrating to see such a large jump with no major features added. I really like Gaia but they are getting into the territory of professional GIS software at that price.Received a notification today that my GAIA subscription is increasing from $39.95 to $59.90, that's a 67% jump. I do not miss MotionX. It had horrible interface and would not continue tracking your course if you minimized the app or switched to another app (part of the reason they built a MP3 player into their screen).EDIT: Disregard, I was mistaken about the renewal. I’m still a bit confused as I though I bought a year subscription last September, but my account shows I only had a trial that expired last November…?
It’s the best app for my use I’ve found so far though, but price is very off putting…I still miss MotionX GPS.
Interesting you had that issue. MotionX worked great for me. I used it a ton when running and never had an issue switching between it and other apps like Pandora or Apple Music. I agree that the user interface wasn’t great.I do not miss MotionX.
