Putting my classic FJ62 up for sale. It's a great drive, but I need something more economical for commuting to school.
Totally rust-free body, truck has been in CA, FL, and GA it's entire life. I had the transmission and transfer case rebuilt in August 2011, and I put on new catalytic converters and new tires in October 2011. 214k on the engine (it's my daily driver), starts up fine and runs like a top. Replaced coolant hoses, T-stat and housing, and other hoses/parts as needed.
Under 5k on the transmission/t-case, and tires. Only has 2012 to pass emissions, then it's considered antique. 4WD works great, recently replaced 4WD vacuum solenoid. Suspension is OME shocks on stock leaf springs.
NO LEAKS from transmission, engine, or power steering (PS is a common leak problem on these), I believe the PS was redone by the previous owner. I have a stack of records dating back to original purchase as well.
Previous owner installed sliding rear glass, and replaced all window weatherstripping, you can tell it's not 25-yr-old stock seals.
Interior and exterior are in excellent condition, typical driver's seat wear for a 25-year-old truck.
