FZJ80 High Pinion front install kit work on Low Pinion? (1 Viewer)

I have a set of gears that Ive been wanting to install in my 96 FZJ80 complete with install kits. I'm hoping to install 5.29's in my 86 4 runner and was curious if the 8" high pinion gear install kit would work on installing a set of gears in my low pinion 8" 4cyl diff?

I dont' think so. The 80 series diff is considered a "V6" diff vs. the stock 4cyl diff you have in the runner. Bearings and such are of a different size.

Jack nailed it, the V6 8" install kits will work for the LC HP 8" fronts but not on a 4cylinder diff. We've got the 4 cylinder kits here if you need one
