Probably dumb question of the year so far but in all the years I've had my 80 I've never had to change a headlamp bulb. Now I do and I can't see how to get the bulb out.
I've unplugged the connector and now all I can see is the back of the bulb mainly covered by the rubber waterproof cover. Haynes says that the bulb should be in a bulb holder and it states to turn the holder to disengage it. My (H4) bulb is not in a holder, it's straight into the lamp housing. I can't see or feel any sort of clip or clamp and wiggling the bulb doesn't move it in any direction.
So, simple question, how does the bulb come out?
