660 miles on the SAS and it rides so f***ing good. Probably better than what it was since I added the rear sway bar that I had removed before the SAS
Steering linkage definitely needs to be redone. I'm gonna remove one of the u joint and go to a straight joint,
To get it ready for wheeling,
I need a stock t case crossmember
I will need extended front brake lines, not sure where i can find those probably needs to be custom
then she is ready for the rubicon in March or April, Hopefully depends on a possible job opportunity
That's brave, glad you made it, but
Tend to the steering before even driving it again please.

...Truck tracks straight and drives amazing. Once I get back I'll be taking more pictures for everyone to hate on because I'm on a limited budget and not a professional lol.

No hating, keep it coming. Your truck looks great, I'm envious!

I no longer have a shop to get better pictures or even to take my tires off. Here is a shot of the front with the pan hard mounts that we made. There is a picture of how we made a removable crossmember and made the radius arm mounts on that caster is sitting just right around 3 degrees. Then there is a picture of the gear box mounted along with the shock tower. The day before I drove it home, I blew out a drag link end, but I had an extra tie rod bar and ends. So I decided to shorten it and sleeve it on the inside and re weld it together and used that as a drag link. I am sure the professionals on mud will say it won't work and is unsafe, but it drives fine and works perfectly fine. This is not a permanent solution, but it works for now. I am getting ready to take a job and won't have any time to work on the truck because I will be out of state. I will be revisiting my steering linkage. I will also be getting new drag link ends. I have an OME steering stabilizer that I plan on installing as well. I am extremely happy with the outcome. It rides and drives great minus the little bit of steering issues currently, but I did just finish a 1200 mile road trip in terrible weather and loved every second of it. I can't wait until I can get back and revisit the steering. I think I am going to go to high steer knuckles, and add hydro assist.

I have a shop to work on my truck again. I finished the front axle swap and the next day drove it almost 1300 miles home and it was amazing just to accomplish the task. I ended up working for the last 6 months out of state and haven't been able to touch it. I wasn't extremely happy with my final product. It was functional, but it wasn't the best. I learned a lot. I didn't do everything the way I would of liked, but I know now for future projects. I decided to gut it it all out and restart. I am also doing an FZJ 80 rear axle swap as well. I decided to ditch the stock radius arms and I am going to 3 link. I bought a kit from ruff stuff that comes with all the mounts. I am also ditching the 80 series gear box and going with PSC hydro assist steering with a LHD steering arm and moving my TRE from the rear to front. I am going to do crossover steering with heim joints. I was considering going y-link, but my buddy said his y-link on his 80 has a dead spot and my other buddy loves his crossover steering. I currently have cut out any of my old work and the front axle is prepped and waiting for the rest of my 3 link kit. The rear axle is ready for rebuild and I am in the process of gearing it right now. I have an e-locked 3rd member that I will be mounting in an unlocked axle and wiring it to my stock wiring harness so everything remains stock and functional. I also have the air locker up front from ARB.
