This guy is selling an FJ60 off a movie set that has custom work. I tried to buy the bumper off the guy and he said no. He's selling the car complete.

TOYOTA landcruiser fj60 all custom

I hope its not the one used in the scene where a 60 gets t-boned by the other 60.

If I had the cash..... I would buy it in a heartbeat!!!!!!!! augh!!! man, only a little over a thousand more than what I paid for my 60 And I would have bought this mint one...... this sucks now...:frown::crybaby:

Oh well... wish a fellow member would snap it up....

It's pretty likely that the cage and frame reinforcements don't take into consideration the fact that you'd like to fit the seats back into the vehicle or use all four doors. It may be too race-quality for the average driver.

The guy told me it was the back up FJ60 for the movie. They wrecked two and never needed to crash this one. It sounds like it's in good condition.

I saw this posting - likely on Craigslist - awhile back (several months???). The guy has come down on his price quite a bit, as I recall (like, almost 50%).

I seriously doubt anyone could go very wrong for the money that is being asked. As for the roll-cage, I don't think it would take much effort to scrap it.

This is one more rig that makes mine look even more like a pig (and mine is not very shabby). Gotta love the price of gas...

... I honestly think I've lost about $1500 (over the last 6 months) in value due to the fuel price increases.

No mention of mileage...you can bet they didn't buy a really cherry fj60 to paint up and wreck. somebody should go look at it and report on the soul of this thing...I'll bet it's a pig in a clean shirt...

60

I talked to the guy earlier. He's gonna send me some pics and if it's worthy I'll check it out this weekend after I take the wife and son to Disney. He did say it has a salvage title so probably why it hasn't moved. He says it has lots of mods so we'll see.

Salvaged title makes me weary. Be careful. I posted it because it looked decent but there may be a lot of problems under the hood...

Pft!

A salvage title can be as simple as someone did not want to pay the back taxes on the registration.

Never knew that...

If you buy a vehicle that has not been registered for say 8 years or so. If you go into the DMV they will want all back fees.

If you work with a Tow company or a vehicle dismantler or used car dealer they can do the proper paperwork and give it a salvage title. All legal but the vehicle has a salvage title for the rest of it's life.
