There is a black 2008 LX for sale in Longmont, Colorado. $26,295. 97,478 miles.


I have driven this vehicle. Runs well. Interior in pretty good shape. Took it to a nearby lexus dealer. Pretty good,report on it.

Needs new battery, glove,box door replaced and some other minor repairs. Tires are good but the spare tire size is different for the four on the ground.

Put $1500 for,the battery, glove box door, alignment,spare tire and it would be a pretty good rig.

Undercarriage was very dirty, you could tell someone drove it on dirt roads and didn't appear to ever wash the undercarriage. Rust looked to be mainly just surface, didn't notice any major spots. Like someone said, a good pressure wash would do wonders. The skid plate hit looks to be more of a issue of someone putting the pieces back together wrong. Did see any obvious damage behind it. On the side that looks bad, someone screwed down the side piece under the middle piece if that makes sense. On the other side its correct and looked fine. It almost looked like the skids were sprayed with someone to make them look better, but I wasn't sure.
It did drive pretty well. I gave the AHC a workout and it didnt seem to have any trouble adjusting. 4LO worked quickly and center diff went in without much hesitation. Interior had a few cracks. Hood had some pretty good rock chips. Every engine cover was missing all clips...
It is at a.... shall we say less that desirable dealer. Seems to be more of a auto pawn store. Owner told me he bought it for his daughter and put new tires on it and had it looked over. She decided it was too big so hes trying to sell. He said he doesn't usually have cars that expensive on his lot.

I drove by this dealer a couple weeks ago to take a look but what concerned me was the undercarriage rust and/or dirt. I bought a Colorado-only driven 2000 LC with much less undercarriage rust and higher mileage. Something doesn't quite add up with this one in my opinion.

Looks like overspray on the skids and front plastic mud guards. Color is way to even. IMO

Did you take it to Stevinson Frederick? I stopped by an looked at it today (didn't have time to talk to anybody). Did you have PPI done?

Yes I drove it. Seemed to drive fine with a tab bit of pull to the left during braking.
