This past Sunday 2/9/14 at 12:30 we held a board of directors meeting to discuss the future leadership and financial status of our club. This meeting was mandatory for all board members and anyone else in the club that was interested in a leadership role. In attendance was Bob, Johnny, Josh, Jim, Rick, Niall & Will. Attendees expressed interest in running for open positions within the club, however all positions will be voted on at the spring meeting. There will also be the opportunity to serve the club as a chairperson or committee member for the Fall Gathering and any other special events.
The current financial status of the club is in good standing. Our balance is up from this same time last year. Currently we have no outstanding debts, with the exception of this year's upcoming NEA dues. We discussed becoming compliant with federal and state at laws, insurance for BOD, and membership costs.
Overall the meeting produced good dialogue, generated viable ideas, and was overall very productive.

Yes, extremely productive meeting. No food was thrown, no glass was broken, and no one offended our waitress. Thanks for taking notes Will.

Thanks to all that make this club happen!! New and old leaders.

I would like to be on the list of ppl for "the opportunity to serve the club as a chairperson or committee member for the Fall Gathering and any other special events."

Oh and when is the spring meeting?? Spring can't come soon enough at this point!

Cool Scott and thanks.

I have to hammer a date out with Nai, but it usually is the first or 3rd weekend of April.

Great meeting and very productive and positive. Good to have people that are excited and willing to give of themselves for the better of the club. Thanks guys for attending, and thanks again Bob for your continued efforts.

Cruiser gods were present as well. Will and I spotted this super clean, stock 4runner in the commuter lot we met at. 45K ORIG!!!!

45k and draggin ass.

Yeah just goes to show that even if they just sit in the garage the springs sag. Damn gravity.

Picking up where the WT left off....

Lots of challenges for the club. YT needs a new BOD ASAP. Finding location for Spring meeting is now critical path to building new BOD. Does anyone have access to a conference room on a sunday in Central mass at a business or collage?

Two of the big club issues are membership rate(s) and how people are admitted into the club.

For the former I can offer, in my experience with clubs a prudent annual budget = annual operations costs + 20%. The 20% creates contingency for ebb/flow of membership and economy, and can help fund the development of new club 'product'. Membership rates are then based on meeting that annual budget model over a series of years, +/- an accpetable %. The big challenges are determining what services, products, events the club members want, and level of 'life support' the club needs; then budget the respective operational cost model. Membership rates can be full blown 'gold' down to a 3 day 'bronze' weekend membership. My understanding FG has been stand alone to the club operational budget, but others know more about that than me.

Spring Meeting
5/3/14
70 Manselville Rd, Deering NH
1 PM

Dave (Jr) has offered his place up.
There's a barn for our meeting, the club will provide lunch and drinks.
Bring your own chairs.
There's a fire pit if the weather is nice and people want to hang out for a bit and a fantastic Chinese Food place down the road.

It's not very central but it will give a number of our NH,ME and VT folks an easier ride for a change.

It's also not as official as some of us have got used to, but I can tell you it will probably be a lot more fun and it's really tough to get
kicked out of Jr's.
