Hello guys,

Just posting this thread as we continue to improve the product line for the 100 series landcruiser. The comprehensive kit for the INTERIOR and EXTERIOR of the 100 series has been around for a while now.

The kits are sold exclusively on ih8mud (via direct message) because I like to talk to my fellow cruiserheads before they place their order. Usually I can get a feel for exactly what they want in terms of lighting color and other configurations. This is the reason why I got rid of the website, while sales did better with the website, I was missing out on the tech talk that I could have if someone sent me a direct message. I can talk cruisers all day and yes I do enjoy that!

When we first started selling LED kits on ih8mud almost 15 years ago, the 80 and the 100 series kit were the first ones released. Now, we have kits from the 40 series all the way to the non-integrated light fixture versions of the 200 series.

We have people reporting back every now and then that their original kits from 2011/2012 are still running!

As we update the offerings for the 100 series, I’ll continue to use this thread! Thanks to mud and all the members on here who allow us to keep playing with lights! Now enough of me blabbing, here are the teaser shots!

For a 10% discount on your LED order, follow our instagram (FullyLitLED) and our YouTube (DustCollectorGarage) and send a DM here on ih8mud to place an order. We are locally starting to expand our services into select motor swaps, powdercoating, and more…and of course providing everyone with content they might enjoy (like a 3UZ swapped 77 series landcruiser)

Thank you to everyone who has been reaching out via direct message! Just wanted to show the difference in color tone because the question of warm white versus xenon white comes up so much!

I've got questions...
1) ~2/3 of the lights behind button in my car are out. Any chance of LED replacements for them-- ideally in stock brightness?
2) Is the "warm white" the same color temp as the stock bulbs?
3) Is it possible to get a setup that is NOT brighter than stock?

Basically, I want LEDs for longevity. I'd like to replace the bulbs, then never think about them again. I don't want brighter, and I don't want whiter. Got anything that meets my wants?

Hey man,

1. To be honest I think no matter what LED is installed it will be brighter than stock but the warm white is definitely easier on the eyes. It is the go to option for those who do not want the brightnessnof a UFO.

2. Color temp is really close to stock, about 3700K which is the color tone of most incandescent bulbs

3. I don’t think there is an LED option that is same brightness as stock, but! The warm white option is more usable in the sense that it is easier on the eyes. I haven’t had anyone return a warm white kit, and this is ordered by people that don’t want the UFO effect by the LEDs

Hope this helps! Let me know if I you have more questions :)

My M3 and M5 have LED dash lights stock, and they’re never obnoxiously bright and can be dimmer to almost off… so it’s possible to do for sure.

Used to have an E60 M5 Carbon Black and E36 M3 Estoril lol always wanted to get into newer ones but no room for more projects

Hey man,

Sorry we stopped offering dash LEDs…long story short people use excessive force when unmounting their dash units and clusters…then they blame the LED so we do some troubleshooting just to find that the LED are fine but they accidentally damaged a wire when removing their dash/cluster :(

I’m a little confused on the purchase path. You no longer have a storefront and you want each sale to be a conversation? No offense but you’re introducing friction into a process that should be a couple of clicks.

Anyway I just want a handful of LEDs to replace roof and door/courtesy bulbs for a brighter interior - 3700-4000K. How do I figure out how much that costs?

Super77, I was thinking that too, but I decided to follow thru. I pm’ed Fullylitled and he has been nothing short of amazing. His PM response to me answered every question I could have thought of and even offered some recommendations. Now, I won’t disclose what I paid out of respect for a vendor, but I was pleasantly surprised how economical the costs were for what I needed, and it made the decision to move forward without hesitation. Truly simple and seamless thus far. I can’t wait for my package. I hope my review helps you make an informed decision :)

Hey man,

Yes what you said is in fact true and I could be just sitting behind the screen clicking away to see what people ordered on a website. I had that before and I honestly lost interest in doing this stuff along with the retrofits.

By making it a dm purchase system here on Mud I get to hold actual conversations with cruiser heads who have a goal in mind for their swap and I can cater to their exact need. If anything, it becomes a sanity check for both me and the customer that they are getting exactly what they want and minimize the chance of a return because they did not get what they want.

I am a cruiser head first before all of this and I do have customers that message me and end up talking to me about more than just lighting, just anything cruisers really! I can do that all day.

I did reply to the DM you sent yesterday! We will continue to keep this a personalized service, in the 100 and 200 series alone there are 3 different lighting setups, alot of vendors are advertising a 100 and 200 series kit without taking into account the variations.

I am thankful for the continued support of these LED kits on mud, almost 15 years here and its been good to connect with everyone!

Thank you,
L

Thanks so much for the kind words man! That is definitely the goal to make sure to answer any questions you send to me! Kit will be with you soon :)
