Nate, that was absolutely fantastic, Thanks. Now I have a repair manual for my 94 and for all other fzj80's :grinpimp::grinpimp:

Hey nate. Thanks a bunch for the camry and celica FSM. They all downloaded perfectly. There seems to be some leftover files with "1" as the file extension in some of the directories... they appear as filename.pdf.1 Just curious as to what those are.

Is there any chance you could run the packages for the 92 geo prism and the 90-95 MR2?

Nate,
Thanks so much, the 01 LX worked great. I tried the old way on a Previa - ugh. Can you add the 1995 Previa to the list? It had both the regular and supercharged versions that year.

Sorry guys!!! Windows Vista + nVidia = SUCKING

I can hardly get anything done on my box because nVidia's drivers are abysmal. I'm trying, I promise.

It would seem that a US credit card and address is needed to use this download service... does anybody know if a similar service exists outside the US ? I'm in the UK... :(

Nate, my tech savy tenant just gave me a complete rundown on how you accomplished all this. It gave me a real appreciation for the time you put into this. Thanks again.

Hi Nate,

I am sorry to hear about your about your computer problems. I completely understand your frustrations I have been there.:frown:

I really appreciate your hard work.
When you can I still would like to get it run for my 1993 Toyota Camry.
I pulled down some of the pages by hand what a pain.

Also could you run it for the 2003 Toyota Tacoma.

Thanks so much.

(You still rock)

Wow, nice work. I loath to give advice on such fine work; however, how about including the owners manuals for the lx450?

Karl

When Vista starts playing nice for you.. could you run the manuals for:
2000 Corolla
1990 Supra turbo

Hopefully today nVidia will release the drivers for the Vista launch day and I can get my system into an acceptable state. I'm not sure though, because nVidia is false advertising the nForce3 chips as designed to run Vista, yet they apparently EOLed them and stopped driver production so they may not do anything and I may be up s***'s creek so to speak. We'll see, hopefully today is the fix and everything will be back to normal.

Nate,
Those of us that have had the pleasure of all of Billy's various Windows releases would have advised you to wait a few months before loading Vista onto anything resembling a "production" machine. Good Luck. :D

I'm actually fantastically happy with this refresh of windows! So far it is great. It is the (straightforward) driver development from a company not interested in keeping their customers that is causing me all the trouble. I run an nVidia motherboard with dual core AMD processor and an AGP ATI X800 video card.

Recently ATI and AMD joined forces to become one of nVidia's major competitors. Now, magically nVidia has stopped all support of their nForce 3 products which are designed to run AMD processors. The only solution that works is to run an nVidia card. SIS, VIA and others have fixed this minor problem months ago with a small incremental driver update. It's been almost 6 months since a beta vista driver from nVidia, and since 2005 for a "release" driver. It sounds like they are completely disinterested in keeping their customers and they have done a damn fine job assuring I will never in my life recommend or buy another nVidia product.

Currently I can't access my RAID array and I can't use any graphics acceleration. nVidia has not made any official statement about the issue but their website pimps my board as a prime choice for Vista. The grapevine suggests they are not interested in fixing it, so if they chose not to I'm going to try to get the ball rolling on a class action lawsuit.

As soon as I have access to my RAID array I will be able to run packages again. Until then it is a waiting game.

nate thanks a lot this awesome, can you please post also the owners manual for 97 toyota land cruiser, I'm the second owner when i of this they dont have the owners manual, when i got it.

So sorry guys! nVidia is still dragging their feet and I still have no access to my RAID array. We are trying everything in our power to get nVidia to support us (their are outright ignoring their own customers, nice huh?)

If you're feeling generous and you have a digg account I would appreciate it if you would digg this story so we'll hopefully get it to the front page and get some daggum recognition.

Will resume packages as soon as I can source that driver, or else I'm going to have to re-write the script... oh joy!

cannot have this on page 5

Bump^

Need 2 please.

Hi nater... Darn good work. Could I request a couple? First I had a few questions... Does this setup keep all the links clickable from within the PDF's? and Can you send me the full packages for these:? I am hoping you can get every single manual that TIS offers for these 3 cars. Is it possible to get all of them thats on the side bar menus? I havent bought a subscription yet, but I will as soon as you can get the packages.

I need the following cars/trucks:

2001 Tacoma 4x4 extended cab. All of the manuals available
2003 Celica GT. All of the manuals available
2006 Scion xB (if they are even on the TIS system) Thats the other halfs car not mine...

Also, if you need someone to mirror your packages, just let me know. I can setup a mirror for ya.

Nate,

I really appreciate what you've done here. Amazing work.

One small thing though. I followed all the steps but I keep getting "failed: invalid argument" when the script runs. Any ideas as to why I'm getting this error?
