33-37 with engine idling and vacuum to pressure regulator conntected

37-46 with engine idling and vacuum to pressure regulator disconnected

Where is this vacuum to pressure regulator at? Thanks

Not sure, but maybe this picture might help someone point it out. Maybe not....

The pressure regulator is a diaphragm with a small vacuum hose attached to it. It is located near the front of the engine on the end of the fuel rail. I will try to find a good pic

Damn, i wasn't even close! oh, well. Learn something new every day.

So if my 3f is gone/removed, my pump should spit out 37-46 when I hook it up to the 12v, correct?

This changes things completely, the pump will output whatever pressure its regulated too. The max pressure this pump is capable of is about 80-90 lbs pressure. So if your asking if this pump will put out enough pressure for a different engine just ask.

ok, will this pump put out enough pressure to run a 7gmte supra motor?

If I have to swap the pump from the supra, I will. If the pumps put out close to the same PSI, I am not going to bother swapping it. Odds are I am going to try it anyways, just nice to know all the little things ahead of time.

When this vacuum to pressure regulator is disconnected, I assume it bypass's the injectors and probably runs fuel back to the gas tank??? I am taking a guess on that one.

The stock fuel pump is fine for a 7M-GTE.

Don't you think the 7M will be a little under powered in a big heavy 80 series. Not to mention low end torque is gone, and turbo lag? Just curious what your plans are. Oh yeah and what transmission and t-case are you going to use, good luck adapting to the factory 80 transmission

Actually 300HP300tq from a turned up turbo 7m shouldn't be a problem power wise. The original plan was to hook The 7m/5speed mini toy tranny/toy mini case since the vehicle is engine/tranny/tcaseless. Now that I actually have the 80 home and started looking things over the 1 thing I didn't count on is

1. Offset rear axle (I should of thought of this, but I didn't, why I didn't, I don't know).

For some reason I was thinking the FJ-80 had a centered axle.

On my little project, I was looking for decent gasmileage/goodpower/keeping it all toyota/being under a certain $ amount for a budget/using parts that are on hand.

Well it looks like the plans are now changing. Probably going to end up with a cheby 350/700r4/aa adapter/Fj-40 4 speed tcase.
