I am having to buy a new fuel pump for my 87fj60, due to mechanical ignorance, but dont want to drop a bunch of money.
It seems that the OEM are twice the price of aftermarket products. Is there a huge diffrence in the way they pump fuel or reliablity??
cheers

for your 60, look for a Carter brand FP, it will be a OEM FP in the box for $50, beleive it comes with spacer and gaskets.

where can i get one?? I have been looking online, but cant seem to find one.

i just put one on a 40. came from advance auto parts, i think they're national.
was an oem pump, rebiuld by "them". the only down side so far, the TEQ emblom was milled off it  .

I put the Carter fuel pump on my 3F 18 months ago and it works great.
Couldnt see any differnce to the OEM.
Spacer and gasket included.

I get mine at the local independent parts store in town. But Carter is a huge brand name, should be able to find one anyplace.
