fuel problems i think?

does the fuel cuttoff switch on back of carb single wire go to the ign switch 74f .also does the nut that mounts the fuel supply line to carb regulate fuel in any way ,kinda pointed with a hole in middle?

That is the idle solenoid, that should go to a switched 12V, and 'click' when the key is turned to the 'on' position.



About the fitting on the carb-


Are you talking about a piece inside that fitting?

I think he means that banjo fitting on the inlet. I was told that the orifice size was kinda important.
