Anybody find a source for original type fuel lines and fittings? I have a lot of it, mostly in 6" lengths...the stuff seems to be very durable. I would rather not do the rubber stuff with hose clamps, but will if I have to...

I used yellow fuel line (tygon?) from McMaster Carr. I can get you the number. It's the right thickness, but a lot more flexible, I was worried about it collapsing on the suction side of the pump, but no problems (yet).

You can reuse the nuts, they come off and there's a hose barb underneath, slide on the hose and stake (or screw) the nut back in place.

What I've found playing around with this stuff recently, when you go to reuse the original fittlings: The hose is thinner, so the cone washer needs to be shimmed with something. I use teflon tape to build up the outside of the hose then slip on the cone piece and the staking nut holds everything secure.

It does harden up over time. ;)
