Hi All,

After fixing my starter wiring I noticed that my fuel gauge was full and my engine oil was low. Not sure how that happened but now it's staying that way on my Land cruiser 75 series.
I know my fuel tank is low but the gauge reads high and the engine oil level is full but the engine oil gauge reads low. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

Sounds to me like a ground got disturbed when the starter was replaced.

Good day, all,
Thank you for your support and comments. My grounds are ok. I checked and replaced all my fuses today. The incorrect fuse was installed for the engine fuse and the fuel level gauge worked. Also, the dashboard light came on. However, the engine oil level still indicated "low". So I decided to look at the engine under the bottom sump cover. I think my level sensor is disconnected and if so I will need to test if it is working when I decide to change out my engine oil. See the picture attached and kindly confirm with me if this is the engine oil level sensor. Thank you.

Mate, the oil gauge measures oil PRESSURE. Not oil level.

The oil level switch in your photo is for a low oil level warning light. Nothing to do with the gauge.

The oil pressure gauge has an oil pressure sender screwed into the block just above the starter motor. It's possible you bumped the wires when you repaired the starter motor.
