Anyone know if I can remove my fuel door with ease? I have an ‘09 LC.

Thanks!!

Have not required to do so on my 200, so no hands on experience.

My 2 cents for now;
Other than drilling out the revits and redoing them (a revit gun at harbor freight is not expensive), I would try to remove the clip in the middle and then tap out the hinge pin.

I had to replace the fuel door on my previous 200, it wasn't hard. Yes you have to drill off the heads of those 2 rivets, they are soft aluminum I believe. The rivets are special, not hardware store stuff, they have a soft plastic cover on them. The body shop that painted my replacement gave me some. Regular pop rivet gun will install, but I also removed the interior huge plastic to catch the old rivets and cuttings, I didn't want that stuff lying in the bottom of my quarter panel.

You'd have to remove the door to get the pin out of the hinge.

The rivets are part number 90269-06017

And for anyone that hasn't heard, that spring clip breaking is a super annoying issue when it happens, but really easy to change once you get the door open. Keep an extra in the tool area in the tailgate. 77360-35040
