THE BAD:
Relay for fuel tanks just went out, small transmission pan leak, exhaust leak at the PS header, speedometer gauge needs new cable, small drip on oil pan (it needs a new crush washer for sure), DS seat has a small tear in it so I put seat covers on, brake pedal only pulls back to about 95% and you have to manually (with your foot) pull it back all the way (not a huge problem...just the brake lights stay on if you don't do it!), CB antenna has seen it's last day

THE GOOD:
ALL fluids just changed, I rebuilt the front axle this past week, in the process of finishing new brakes on rear, 350 runs strong and true, TH400 shifts right on, crawls well with ORION 4:1 case, ARB/Detroit in great working order, never flopped, NEW alternator, NEW belts, tuned up 2 rides ago with MSD wires/plugs, semi-new booster

How about a trade for my:

97' FZJ80. 122k, black, factory lockers, leather, sunroof, ect. Clean interior de-wood trimed, husky liners, good seat covers, kenwood stereo. All in all clean interior.

approx 3.5" lift with OME 850J in front and 863 in rear. Procomp es9000 shocks, slee caster plates. Slee DC front drive shaft, extended breathers. Slee front sway bar blocks. Suspension works well and only has about 5k on it. No driveline vibes, little jiggly on a rough highway, but smooth as silk on a smooth highway. Cruises 75 all day. 315/75R16 dick cepek mud country with about 4k miles on them. They are siped, so they do pretty well in snow and Ice, I have chains for them as well.

PM, I changed diff, tranny, radiator, tcase fluids with synthetic about 10k ago, did it 2x to get them cleaned out. The birfs need to be done, I am going to do it soon, just moving and doing house work for the last few months. Power Steering pump is a little leaky, but that is the only thing I can tell it needs. Replaced plugs, wires recently, oil pump seal, antena with black rubber. Just replaced rear brake calipers, pads, rotors, and beld brake system.

Paint has a few pin stirpes and is missing a flare. I have all hardware to replace the flare ($150!) but no flare. If I keep it, I'll probably just pull all the flares as they are kind of a pain. and just rino line. All in all great exterior. With a coat of wax looks pretty damn good.

custom front bumper out of 3/8 and 1/8 steel, ready for a winch. Custom sliders that just need the finishing touches to mount up. Very high clearance and low weight sliders and bumper.

Let me know what you think

I live up in Eagle.

Looks pretty great! Can you send me as many photos as you can of the interior, under carriage, drivelines, engine bay, etc.?

I am in MI right now and would be interested coming by to look at it January 4 or 5. I can trailer the 40 and meet you half way somewhere to some test drives.

Talk to you soon!

Way to blow of a sale man. A simple "we no longer have a deal" would have been just fine, but to go ghost is a little sketch.

Hi Tatonka!

Before you go any further: remember that it's very tough to accept an offer WITH me paying for 100% of the shipping to South Carolina. Nice try man....

At any rate.....bump

We agreed on a price, set up to wire funds... you disappear and your phone number is disconnected. Yeah, all you had to say is "hey man, I need more cash to make it work" and this would have been sold. Nice FJ and good luck.

Ohh.... BUMP!

okay.

here is my phone number: call to confirm that its disconnected 616-282-6848.

On it's way to a new home!
