Good luck - good price on a nice bumper!

Got it Installed over the weekend

Well I got the IPOR bumper installed over the weekend and it matches the front slee bumper well. I think I may be installing some braces for the wing for more protection and relocating the exhaust since it is now the week point on the rear. Thanks to Blue tribal for the plate relocation ideas with LED's and bracket but I just ended up using one existing hole, drilling a new hole and using a rubber nut cert to mount it. Not a perfect solution but it is more visible and took 5 minutes. Still trying to figure out a way to lock the jack and tire and plan to trim the mud flaps to fill the void were the wheel flare meets.

Personally when I get a Hi-Lift jack I would only put it on for runs. And for the tire, I use rubber coated wire cut to size and a rubber coated master lock. I probably could have just used a bike lock, the cable would have been thicker and harder to cut.

Looks nice.

So, does this mean you are going to sell the Slee pole? :D

I just remembered that I had a buddy with a Heep that was able to get one of those 'U' shaped bicycle locks to fit just right around the rim and lock just right on the back of the vertical tire swing bar. It may be tougher with our thick spokes on our wheels.

I used to use the U shaped lock on my 40 with the wagon wheels and it worked well. After looking at it again last night I think I can use a long shackel type master lock and drill 2 holes in the wheel mount back plate and lock through one lug hole.

I thought about it briefly but realized that it does not take too much room without the tire and works well for mounting the CO2 bottle, Fire extinguisher and flashlight. Also if I ever want to go on a long ride (baja) I could add a second tire and put all the gear on a roof rack.

That's a good idea....
