I bought it last week. This is my first pig, and I'm in love. Looking forward to working on it and making it my own. I'm new to the world of cruisers, but I'm sure I'll never leave. It's already in my blood. :)

Congratulations! Nice piggy. Welcome to the addiction.

Congrats!! I ran across that things and just HAD to pass it along. It looked really nice. You know when someone daily drives an older rig it has to be taken care of (well... usually) PICS.. PICS... PICS... interior... motor, etc....

I know that Pig...and the previous owner, Josh. I remember the first time Josh brought it to Pighead's Garage. I even wrote it up for this board, but I can't find it in the archives...something about a Major tune-up...
Josh brought it by, barely running, sounding like crap. So we took off the manifolds, both were cracked, and pulled the head. I traded one of my spare 2F heads for a 6 pack of good beer and we put the head on. Then I traded my spare headers for a 6 pack of good beer, then I traded a spare intake manifold for a 6 pack of good beer. Now, I don't remember (funny) if we used a 2F intake or a late F intake but I remember we had trouble putting his carb on my old manifold. Maybe I traded him a late F carb for a 6 pack of good beer and he used that. I do remember that we got that thing running right and that it took all afternoon. It sounded great heading down the alley. with uncorked headers, as the sun went down.
So, if you need any more help on that Pig, CRZYJKE, stop by Pighead's garage. Bring beer.

Thanks Pighead, I didn't get a lot of time to find out from Josh what he had worked on. I'm new to the TLC scene, but am enjoying every minute of it. I got tired of boring cars and trucks that don't have any character and wanted something that I could tinker with and make my own. I'd love the chance to stop by sometime and talk about the pigs.

Ah, yes. I remember admiring that one. Nice, original truck in pretty good shape, relatively speaking...

Welcome to the sickness...

Gosh, CRZYJKE, that would be swell. Maybe we could get some other local 'Cruiserheads to come by and give your Pig the once-over. You could see some of the common modifications and catch up on Pig lore. Maybe find a part that you need. Maybe we need to start a new thread instead of hiding out here in classified...
