hey all, the time has come, and i am being forced to sell my LC. first off, it does need some front brake work. i havent been able to get them to work properly. but then again, im not any means of a mechanic, nor do i trust anyone near me to work on it for me. im between a rock and a hard place. im sure that fixxing the brakes, will be a fairly easy task for most of you cruiser guys on here,
heres some of its stats...: it has the original engine, with 60k original miles. both on the drive train, and body. three speed tranny, stick on the floor. vacuum engaging 4wd, and the high/low lever is under the dash> and it works like butter. it has warn lock-o-matic hubs> they will tempararily engage the hubs when you put it in 4wd, and disengage when you take it out, no need to get out just to lock the hubs to get a unstuck from something small. although, you can easily lock them just like normal. it also has rear heat. the interior is almost finished, jump seats are there. the driver side front seat is not original. it is out of my '99 subaru 2.5RS. the one that was in there when i bought this, was from an alfa romeo, and i never liked it, so i changed it out with the subaru seat.
and here is some of the most important stuff: the frame has no rot, surface rust, but zero rot! also, same goes for body/tub, no rot.a few bubbles in the paint here or there, but no rot. almost all of the underneath has been POR15'd, but its in need of new coating. this cruiser has not seen NY roads during winter. i have owned it for about 6 years or so. and i belive there was two owners before me.
if any has any questions, please feel free to ask. you can email me, homurcules@gmail.com or you can call me on my cell: (845) 389-1104 or at work( its not a problem at all) (845) 246-1050
