FS-1988 FJ62 sky blue SOLD PENDING FUNDS.
SOLD TO PETE PENDING FUNDS.
Up for sale is my 88 FJ62 which was rear ended. 358K mi. Nice OME full suspension. I have decided to focus on my FJ40 project. The vehicle was in 90% condition prior to getting rear ended, now needs a rear driver's quarter and a tail/liftgate. Interior is clean and complete, tranny is strong and 3FE runs VERY smoothly. I bought the vehicle for a 3FE transplant and then lucked into a V8 for my FJ40 instead. The car had ONE owner until 2006-7 when some Mud members bought it for a DD but were hit. I purchased it from them. This 62 runs so well and is in good enough shape that somebody needs to fix the damage and drive it. Randy Suttles @ RT Customs can vouch for the mechanical health and overall condition of this FJ62. I simply have too many project vehicles but too little time and storage space, and would like to get what I have in it back out. Before I part it out or complete it I wanted to see what kinds of offers I can get. Title is salvage and I have it in possession. Wheels in photo # 1 are not included and have been replaced with the original OE 62 wheels. Body shop has stored the vehicle for me since I have owned it and told me that they wanted to straighten the frame as well as obviously replace the rear quarter and lift/tailgate. Rear sway bar has popped loose and bracket needs to be bolted down again. Only rust I could find is one the sill at the gas tank filling entry. This truck wrecked runs better than several RESTORED 62s I have sat in and driven.
I have tried to show all the positives/negatives with these photos, so if you want to see additional pictures or ask questions please PM me.
Thanks!
Alex
