Hello, for sale is a 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40. New OEM paint color with PPG Rustic Green paint code 621. Any rust that it had was either cut out or sand blasted off and new floors, wheel wells and a few panels were installed - It looks beautiful! New OEM Toyota marker lights on all four corners, and OEM fronts turn signals were just installed along with OEM Landcruiser Emblems. Also, (5) new OEM Toyota steel wheels and hubcaps with new B.F. Goodrich 33x10.5 tires were mounted. Old Man Emu leaf springs front and rear with greasable shackles and rear OME Nitrocharger shocks with Bilstein 5100 series up front. All the steering linkage from left tie rod to the right tie rod including the steering shaft itself have been replaced. It has Saginaw power steering, 4 speed manual trannsmission that shifts well, and the 4 wheel drive works well too. The motor is a GM 350 and has a recently installed Holley 600 carb, alternator and water pump. It starts easy and drives straight and well for a short wheelbase vehicle. All three buttons on the steering wheel for the horn work and the horn was recently replaced. With that said, it's a 40 year old car and is certainly not perfect, but is a reliable daily-driver capable vehicle. It needs a headliner as there is none in it now, struts for the rear hatch, and speakers for the radio that otherwise works. The window regulators are new but the right door window track needs to be moved forward a half inch but the window rolls up and down as is. The windshield wipers work but it doesn't have a washer pump installed. These things are all minor and the bulk of work has been done. Lastly, it has a Bestop forward facing rear seat with lap belts and the original front seats were re-upholstered a few years ago and look great. There's a new HD lockable TuffyBox center console too.
Sadly I have far more invested in this vehicle than I'm asking for it, but I'm pricing it to sell as I've just moved to Chapel Hill From New Bern and simply don't have the space like I did. It's a real looker and gets a lot of compliments. I have the clear title in hand and the price is $11,900. SOLD
