No. We are not even to good sledding season yet. Long ways to go until road construction season starts.
The cubs are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs already.
Who cares about the Pack. The Lions looked somewhat presentable for almost a half on national TV.
D'Real is keepin it real and buying a hybrid minivan.
Tony is an alien. A member of a highly evolved race sent to observe and report. He apparently wandered off and missed the bus back home.

For me it is not a matter of being a fan of a "great team" just because of their recent record......i have principals damnit.
Principles? Unless you live in WI or did live in WI there is no reason to be a packer fan.... Unless you are an anti social turd like steffy...
I hate when people are fans of the winning teams...just cause they are the winning team...so Im not suggesting being a colts fan, rather, im trying to understand why a FIP wouldnt be a fan of their home team especially when they are the colts....

stay focused here. Can't you all see I am in a bad place. This cruiser is my fav and needs a new life.
I am in the parts collection process big. I would do the engine trans swap if i can find a simple setup. But I am going to tear the head off this evening when I get home from this fun fkin job.

If you have some parts for the front discs that can be "e" done... (E=Eric) then bring them to tft and I will buy them from you. Just let me know the damage and what else I really need. Funny how the last thing I need is steering, but that will most likely get done first...
Back to the head, who does machining and what do I tell them so I don't look as stupid as I am..

Call your local miday etc... and ask them who you can take a head to. Usually its a machine shop.
just say you want it magnafluxed and check to see if its warped. maybe deck it....? They will know what to do.
I took a 2f head to a machine shop on 111th & Harlem attached to a car quest...they were great. anchient old shop with a bunch of old dudes in there. And said that was the biggest head they had ever seen.
They will not be at TFT...no time this week to dig thru the piles...but a future road trip is easy enuf...
have a pair of 4x4 Labs arms too, for the knuckles (minitruck)...no links or ends tho...and they are for SOA, so nevermind...
have Poly inners laying around, order up a pair of 27-spline chromo birfs for them...
have one Warn lockout...you'd need two
*where I don't know, but it's around...Order a minitruck knuckle rebuild kit from CruiserOutfitters, I have a gift cert for $50 you can have...that WILL be at TFT...cost you one drink (wait, one double...stupid pour controls)
don't forget to grind the knuckle balls so stuff fits...

Depending on what route you want to go for power steering, I may have most everything that you would need. I will have to go dig arround the garage, but i did have a couple minitruck push-pull steering boxes, and I know I still have at least one IFS minitruck box for crossover. I just hope I didnt scrap the push-pull boxes during my last run. I have at least one minitruck power steering pump sitting on the shelf as well, along with all of the Earls fittings to run their braided high pressure lines. Ill dig arround for the push-pull boxes, if I still have them and you are interested you can just have them.

Just returned home from the office. no wrenching this eve. maybe a few beers in the 40 in the garage.
I am going to get the head off, get it something or othered, then continue on my mission to get some parts ready for the other crap. I still want to go 4 speed, power steering, disc, and a bunch of other crap.
I very much appreciate the parts help. I am happy to pay for parts as needed. Just need to be sure of the costs and gather the funds.
As for Gappy's offer to have the cruiser down by him... that may be an option if in the end it never makes it out west. I am really focused on getting it done and out theree but if the mission fails, to Indiana it can go cause I will be pissed and sick of the thing!
