So I took my batter out to acid wash the terminals as I had some corrosion on the positive terminal. I also had been having intermittent issues with TPMS not working and thought a battery disconnect for a few hours might reset that. I put the battery back in and everything seems to be working except now the front wheel position display doesn’t show the wheels. The reverse camera graphics work and change the path with wheel movement so I think that means the wheel position sensor is working.

Anyone have an idea to get the tire position display back working?

That is odd.. I would assume the reverse lines are tied into the same logic. I guess it's possible the MFI and Nav units both just see raw information from the steering wheel position sensor and come up with their own output, and the MFI is slower to learn?

How long has this been going on? Maybe some full lock to lock sweeps of the steering wheel are in order?

yes its odd. I'm pretty sure the reverse lines and the front wheel graphic are tied to the same senor and logic. When I had the battery out for an extended period before, I had to get the system to recalibrate before I got the reverse lines to work again. When they didn't work, neither did the front wheel graphics.

We will see what happens when take the 200 out today. I am wondering if the system just needs time to initialize after having the battery disconnected.

Yeah alot of those sensors seem to need a drive to recalibrate. TPMS does that too. If you take the spare out and leave it at home the other 4 work but then after a freeway drive 15-20 min TPMS gets mad and all sensors shut off and you get the TPMS light.

Short drive just now running errands got it going. Weird it’s not done that before that I have noticed anyway.
