So like many of you with bigger wheels/tires, I trimmed off the plastic piece that runs ahead of the front wheels.

I should've thought this through better perhaps, but wondering if I'll run into any issues by having these parts exposed in a rainy climate.

This shot is taken with the camera facing up into the liner piece that was trimmed off. It goes all the way to the headlight connections.

I'd appreciate any advice esp those who've run it this way for a while. Thanks!

I trimmed mine quite a bit...no issues.

I think I have even less than yours, but the Iron Man covers some of the upward areas with the panels it comes with underneath. I don't see anything that is drastically wrong. aside from the same worry I have of a random stone cracking the pisser fluid reservoir.

Mine's just an urban bruiser so I should be set. I was just concerned about water exposure and the occasional snow we get up in my neck of the woods.

Almost all of those connections have a gasket on them so I wouldn't worry about moisture.
