Hi all

Has anyone had any experience in moving/extending the front seats back a few inches to create extra leg room?
I don’t want to completely replace them with aftermarket, however I’m 6’3” and let’s just say it’s a little cramped in my BJ73. To be able to move them even a few inches further back would make the world of difference.
I haven’t been able to find any extensions or brackets available either, does anything exist that doesn’t require open heart surgery?

Yep. 1.5” x 1/4” flat stock. I moved mine back 3”. Made a world of difference. I’m 6’5” and fit comfortably now. Cheap and easy.

On page 29 of my build thread you can see how I did it.

Thanks for the inspiration there!
I’ve ended up doing something somewhat similar, just without angling the seat back with the spacers.
I’ve moved it back about 3 inches and its made the world of difference!!
Thanks again
