I just replaced mine. When it goes, it requires a window regulator. The window regulator is attached to the window via a tab (or tabs) that are designed to break away under load so the window doesn't shatter in the door. There are two ways to deal with it. Re-attach the window to the window regulator using epoxy or the like, or pony up money for a replacement window/window regulator module. I think it was about $250 but I can't remember. Here's another issue I found out the hard way. Once the module is replaced, there's a specific procedure to re-program the one-touch auto-up function. We put the door back together and didn't realize for a few days that we had a problem. When you hit the one-touch auto-up, the window gets to the top of the door, then backs down halfway, as if the pinch feature had been activated. I called the dealer and they told me they wouldn't relay the information to me over the phone or fax. I could come by and have them program it for $300, or I could copy the pages out of the shop manual and do it on my own. I'll tackle it over Christmas.
