Hello to all,

New 2002 cruiser. Great truck all the way 'round. First thing was to lose the sideboards, but now I need front mud flaps. I've looked for the CDAN listing in the vendors, and searched the posts, but still can't find who he is or how to order. Any help would help.

I've always been very impressed with how well people help out others on boards like these!

This truck will get some serious use/commuting/etc. up here in Northern Idaho. In winter, it's a job just to get home from work.

It will be a nice change of pace from my "old days" driving (repair-fix-:)drive-:confused:fix-:mad:fix-broken diff-fix-fix-:mad:broken axel-:)drive-fix) my several early series Land Rovers. Never again. I like the get in and go of Toyota. My past few Toyotas have never seen anything but oil changes. We'll see how the Cruiser holds up to its reputation.

Hi again, and good to be here.

Can't help you with the mud flap, but thought I'd be the first to greet you.

Welcome aboard! :flipoff2: I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the rig.

Congrats,

Doug

I just searched the site, typed in "Mud Flap" and got nothing so I browsed and came up with this: "Mud Guard" WTF?

Heres the page I was on: http://www.trademotion.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getLocator&siteid=840&chapter=ARM8415&appSectionid=2399&groupid=2724&subgroupid=5578&componentid=0&make=34&model=Land%20cruiser&year=2002&graphicID=8415115&callout=4&catalogid=2

I removed my mudflaps when I put my sliders on, but I'm gonna keep them if I ever take the sliders off.

welcome!

some say that CDan is not a real person, more like a ghost or a figment of one's deranged imagination.... there may be some truth to that, but I'm not the one to tell... :D

thankfully, figment or not, he does know his stuff and gives us great discounts... :)

Welcome :flipoff2:

To answer your first question, CDan is short for Cruiser Dan (cruiserdan) parts Shaman (per Romer) for all things Toyota.

Works at American Toyota-Scion in Albuquerque NM. You can PM him via MUD or call 505-821-7052 or 800-432-6668

He is VERY help and VERY knowledgeable and willing to help us noobs and typically has better pricing on parts than you can find elsewhere. Don't worry about not being in NM as I believe most items from CDan ship "free" :D

SINCITY100 is also a great Toyota parts guy for 'MUD folks...and 100 owner. Give him a PM or at 888-741-7755.

Welcome to the board. Any Toyota dealer will be able to get the mud flaps for you. But be sure to specify that you do not have running boards, Toyota does make a front mud flap that is cut to clear with running boards. I encourage you to join TLCA. www.tlca.org If nothing else Toyota Trails magazine will piont you in good directions and give you something to read while sitting on the crapper.
