ReGreased my hubs and spindle this weekend, along with new pads. When I got done, it had a more pronounced whisking/rattling sound that worked itself out, only when turning. It went away until I noticed it today.

If I'm turning hard and moving at 15-20+ mph, it sounds like a whisk in a steel pan. I inspected everything and all looks good, but havens popped the wheel off yet.

Dust cover?
CV getting ready to go?
Bad bearing?
Any other thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

FWIW I was told by a mechanic that I will hear a grating noise when making slow turns when my bearings need replacement

Yeah I had mine do that also on the pass rear after a brake job. Would only do it on ramps getting on highways. Glad it is solved.
