Jeb's questions about a front winch (where he wanted to install a receiver in the front for the winch) gave me a thought. Here's the deal, I ride dirtbikes and I hate towing a trailer. I also have a hitch-mounted bike carrier that will carry my sons' two mini-bikes.
Could I mount a hitch receiver in front and plug my kids' bike hauler into it? Total weight on the front for the bikes and the carrier would be less than 450 lbs. (plus the weight of the receiver itself). If this would work, I could buy a separate hitch mounted receiver for the rear where I'd haul my full-sized dirtbike.
Any recommendations on receiver manufacturers? Any photos of front end receivers on 100 series cruisers?
