Just put a 5spd in my 81BJ60 as well as 5spd driveshafts.
I have 33's and 2.5 inch belton lift which puts you up quite a bit higher than that.
Can spin driveshaft by hand and it does not rub.
But when hubs are locked and it is driven it scrapes crossmember. Already lost part of a zerk ( grease fitting).
Please help.
thanks

When I had my 60 I flipped the front driveshaft end for end. This puts the slip part of the driveshaft at the transfercase end. Only works though if you don't have a CV driveshaft. Other than that you could trim the crossmember and then reinforce it.
