Is there a vent tube on a 100 series front differential? I can't see one in any illustrations - can anyone show where it is? I'd like to extend it higher and check to see if it's plugged/clogged. Thanks!

the front diff and transmission are going to the fill neck of the engine (?) oil. at least on my 99 LC.

wait a sec, that was wrong I think :-D I think front diff is on the left side of the engine and trans case and transmission are going to the engine or transmission filling neck.

yep, front diff is more or less under your airbox in the engine bay.

I extended my rear breather to the fuel filling cover. trans case and trans go to the filling neck. and I didn't do something on the front diff yet, but will also extend it a bit further up.

Here's a Partsouq screen cap of the front diff breather. ('99 UZJ100)
Barb fitting off the front diff into short piece of hose into a hardline
into another hose then finishing with the breather.

I believe the line travels up the passenger side of the fire wall.

Super helpful everyone - thanks!
