After a long trip this weekend to the annual snow camp with my son I noticed that after I parked the truck and after unloading all the gear I checked under the truck I noticed some oil or oil like subtance coming out from under the front diff breather, there was a small puddle of the size of quarter on the floor. I got under the truck and confirmed the oil is coming out from the front diff breather.
Is this something that I need to be concerned?
What could be the cause of this?

Thanks,

Just sounds like it's blocked that's all. No biggie.
Just been thinking about this, If its blocked why is it leaking? :flipoff2:
Antonio, Have you checked the fluid level? was it in 4WD, My cousin drove in 4WD doing 65MPH for about 50 miles it was doing the same thing.
Just a thought

I would have thought that a weeping diff breather could indicate pressurisation of the housing caused by heat expansion of the diff oil. I would check first that the correct grade and quantity of oil are in the diff and also that any breather is free to do so. If it still continues then is the diff getting excessively hot and why. But a small amount could that be condensation build up over a long while?
