This is facing forward under the middle of the front of the engine. It is three days accumulation and no oil has actually dripped (truck has not moved) I noticed it about a week ago, cleaned all oil off and checked it again this morning before I drove the truck.

Really bizaar I tried it from a co worker's computer to see if I see it on mine because I have the cookie needed and I see it fine.

Maybe my host is coming and going so I see it and you guys don't sorry. I'll look for somewhere else to host it.

Thanks

Had a leak there - thought it was crank sensor - nope - oil pump seal - happy happy.....

Take the skid plate off, clean area with brake parts cleaner. Start the truck and crawl under. You will find your leak.....

Anyone have this page of the fsm pdf? I spent the 10.00 and hours downloading the whole thing only to have my hdd crash before I could back it up. grrrr.

That's a pretty good little acumulation for three days. Like previously said, clean her again and remove the skid plate to see where it's coming from. At that rate, you should be able to spot it pretty quick.

Great write up about it. And ignor the part were I stated that the radiator needs to be removed, that was my mistake. We pulled it out for other reasons at the same time we were doing the oil pump seal.

Edit: I guess it was another thread about that thread where I made the comments about the radiator, oh well.

Thanks for the link I really appreciate it!

Took the shield off and sure enough you are 100% right. Oil is from the oil pump cover. I am in Mexico and the Toyota Dealer here leaves quite a bit to be desired. Can anyone give me the part numbers of the seal, screws & crank seal as I agree while I am in there I want it all done. Gracias.

Are you there permanently? If not, keep feeding it oil and wait till you can get the parts fron cdan.

Oil Pump Seal Part # 15188-66020
Philip head bolts part # 15183-66020 quantity #7

If you really want it. Torque on main crank is 305#. Part number for crank seal eludes me at this moment.

I am here until November and am about to r&r the cooling system hoses I brought with me and remove & flush the radiator/cooling system and I really prefer to take everything apart once.

I removed and cleaned the shield and need to wait until tomorrow to order the parts but I know from previous experience with my Tundra two years ago before they were sold here that unless I give them the correct pn I will get the wrong thing,

Thanks

*edit*

Thanks for the pn's I posted the above while you were posting them.

Somebody wanna give him the crank seal part number.....

Anyone? I went and ordered the parts I have the #'s for and they claim to have no way to find lc part #s because their system starts in 2000 which was their first year in Mexico. GRRRRRRRRR

Thanks a 1,000,000!!!
