Front "clunk" noise gone after new swaybar links and bushings!

Our 98 LX just hit 249K and has had a clunk for a while from the front on turns and road/parking lot undulations.

I ordered the parts to replace the worn bushings around the bar and on the links, and replaced the links that have new bushings and replaced them after work and the ride home was noise free!

If the list has not been posted yet, (I didn't see it in the FAQ) here it is. These are looked up for a LX470, but possibly the same for the CRUISAH!!!!

So are these parts interchangeable with the same year model range LC's as well? These are Lexus parts that you say you got from a Toyota dealer so I was curious if these were a few of the many interchangeable parts that the two platforms share.

I did the same thing. I rebuilt everything suspension except the sway bar links and had clicking and popping. replaced them and no more noise.

Yeah I am able to get most of my parts from Toyota. I give him the part numbers and if he types in a number and it doesn't come up, then we know I have to give Lexus a call!
