Question on parts compatability from mini truck to fj-80 landcruiser.

According to the aussie locker web site, it says that the Aussie Locker XD-20830
OEM Axle: TOYOTA Axle Type: 8” rg Splines: 30 fits 1979-1985 Toyota mini trucks in the front.

Then for the Front of a FJ-80 it stays Aussie Locker XD-20830
OEM Axle: TOYOTA Axle Type: 8” rg Splines: 30

According to their site, the part #'s are the same for both diff's.

So my question is I know the ring and pinion from these carriers are different, but the inner guts of the diff where the ring bolts too are the same?

i.e. inner carrier gears from a mini truck, should swap into a FJ-80 and vise versa?
