Front balancer seal (1 Viewer)

Has anyone ever change out their front timing cover balancer seal without taking the timing cover off the engine? If so how did you do it?

You need to un-dress the front of the motor far enough to the the crank pulley off. After you figure out a way to get the 30mm bolt that is torqued down to 304 lbft out, it's not too bad.

I got it changed out, not as bad as I thought but that balancer bolt was a pain in the a$$.
