I have a 96 80 series and it is time for a rebuild on the front axle. Anybody know of anybody in the middle TN area that could that for me?

Thanks
Gman

By rebuild, do you mean replacing the knuckle seals or replacing the differential gears?

Seals,bearings. The 100,000 miles servicing.

You can do that yourself, save a lot of money and know it was done correctly. It's not difficult.

FWIW, if the wheel bearings are kept clean and lubricated, they'll last the life of the truck, in normal service. Timken designed them for a much more severe service than most 80s ever see.

I have 435k on the clock. I'm getting noise from front end, rubbing ?
