Hallo i need some advice i have lc 200 year 2008 with front arb air locker corona 4.88 wheel 35/12.5/17 end today i broke my-" Shaft Sub-assy, Differential Side Gear" why the drive shaft didn't brake ? end the shaft brake?.

That's a pretty bad break!

There's way more torque on the side shafts than drive shafts. Even though the drive shaft may look weaker, it has mechanical advantage on the side shaft. 4.88 advantage in this case. It's also stronger geometrically as it's larger in diameter than the side shafts.

Without knowing how you broke it, is it possible it wasn't seated completely? I can't recall another time I've heard of one breaking this. Though 35s and lockers do cause a log more leverage and stress on drive train components.

It's the second time i broke the shift i am thinking maybe the arb air locker rd152 wasn't mounted wall .
 
What was the situation you were in when you broke it? Not on asphalt or cement right?
 
rock climbing the left wheel was on air end all the pressure was on the right wheel
