From Carbon Steel to .304 Stainless Steel , The Evolution of the 2F 3-Bolt Exhaust Manifold Front Pipe 17410- Flange ..

i have been wanting to bring this to the table ever since Solid MUD Buddy @Spike Strip toled me the FJ60 front pipe 17410- was

actually made from Stainless alloy infused Steel of some Varity ?

he first part # was
17410-61160

then supersceded to 17410-61190

not sure why ?

maybe
61160 was carbon CRAP steel ?

so i had to find out with my own eyes , grabbed my junk yard maganet and hunted down the only FJ60 in town i knew of ,

sure as sh#t is was , :D

barley a magnetic field at all , but more so a tad then i thought if 100% stainless ?

but never the less it was 85%-90% non-magnetic for sure ...

@brian

so here they are , with a little BLING factor on one

NOTE : Dark gray looking one is the CARBON STEEL to the RIGHT

and well where there is one Stainless Steel pipe Dream , i supose there can and will be more ....
