My cover is just canvas but does have the front pocket. It is buried in a box of "stuff" as I didn't see the point of it. Nothing is bouncing around hitting my fridge and I don't care about scratches anyway. Real happy with the fridge, worked great in the desert keeping things frozen and can fit plenty in there if I pack correctly. Just fits in the slide out I have so also feel I am using that space as best I can.
