Is anybody want to meet up today and check out a couple 4wheeling spots around the area that I just found. Nothing too extreme.. If not we could just meet somewhere and and just yak about cruisers for a little while and I get to meet some of yall.

Let me know what you think. you can reach me @ nine-one-nine six-zero-one seven-three-one-five

We really need to condiser a social day. That way some of us new guys can put a face and name with the screen names on here. Something as simple as a cruise in at a Sonic or the like.

I totally agree with you.
I got to meet Juan (worldcruiser, btw great guy) today, for a little chit chat and some wheeling.
At first he was a bit hesitant to wheel his 40, (I would be too) it looks so clean. But quoting him. "Hey man hop in, I got pumped up" and we went up and down Regency Park with his 40. Then we did the same with the FJCruiser. We were hoping to go through the mud pits but the rain chased us out as he didn't have his top with him.

Boy getting caught in the rain sucks... LOL Right hun??? Oh and getting hit by a flying tree limb really sucks.. (we got caught in the rain storm Fri. on the way home from work) Sitting under Overpasses gave us time to have a lot of laughs...

I bet not.....you did a great job on the build. Once I have a really nice one I doubt I wheel it much.

here is the pic...

Ditto on that Erymer.....I do not want to wheel mine anymore..hehe let's see how long I keep my promess!!

Good pic, Juan. Color looks almost like an exact match!

A 'Cruiser you don't wheel? Isn't that like a dog that don't hunt???

Well I understand that....But you think twice about it when you have over certain amount of money tied up on a rig. And that is not even counting labor hours. I got a couple other FJ's I will build one for the only purpose of wheeling.

Yeah his 40 is a glossier metallic blue. Mine's more of a gay blue but not really

If Juan's bezel was white it would make for a cooler shot from a comparison perspective but I like the way the black bezel looks with the rest of the 40.

Take no offense in that statement Juan...I'm 'prolly just jealous b/c mine has so much rust it is no candidate for a true resto. There was a time when I would have considered it, but now I have decided she's gonna' be setup for all go and no show.

Now, if I could hit the powerball I could actually pay for some parts to accomplish the "go" part of that theory....
Future Plans:
Finish rust removal (hopefully by mid-July)
Herculine tub (end of July)
Saginaw (end of August)
Rollcage/Aussies (End of Sept)
Weekend at Uwharrie (Last weekend in Sept!!!!!!)
