Freewheel hub change a good idea? (2 Viewers)

96 two door prado KZJ71 Is it a good idea to change the front hubs to old school selectable hubs to prevent more wear and tear on the drivetrain if your doing a good amount of highway driving? What hubs would you recommend for this change for my LC ?

Naw you're good as-is. Your e-hubs are always open/part time anyway, unless you hit the buton to lock them.


I actually swapped out my hubs to manual locking hubs after i accidentally damaged one of my e-hubs. I didnt notice any difference.
